The Thread of the Fallen Sky

In the Jade Pillar Sect, the path to immortality is paved with “Ascension”—the ability to shed the weight of the mortal coil and rise into the celestial heavens. Mo Chen is the sect’s greatest shame: a youth born with a “Leaden Dantian.” His spiritual essence is so heavy that he cannot even leap, let alone fly.
